Better Than A Burger

So many of you have asked if you can make my chicken fritters using ground chicken, and these chicken patties are the answer. And no, they're not just another chicken burger! 😉

If you love a cozy vanilla flavored coffee in the morning, my zero sugar vanilla syrup makes it easy. It’s smooth and naturally sweetened, so your coffee tastes like a treat—without the sugar crash.

And my sugar free simple syrup and liquid allulose are the ones I reach for when I’m making lemonade or iced tea for the kids… or a quick cocktail for me 😉 They mix in easily and don’t change the flavor—just that perfect touch of sweetness.

The Glaze Steals the Show

I’ll be honest — sockeye isn’t usually my favorite. But this sticky-sweet glaze completely changed my mind. It’s bold, flavorful, and surprisingly easy.

Taco Night, Upgraded

I actually created this recipe because so many of you asked if you can make my slow cooker version of this meat without a Crock Pot — and when I confirmed that you can, I made these tacos with it! They're smoky, flavorful, a little spicy, and fall-apart tender.

💡 TIP: Check on your barbacoa halfway through to confirm that the liquid didn’t evaporate. It will vary depending on the size of the pot you use. (I used this one in white.)

Maya's Life Update

If you saw my email yesterday or my Instagram stories, you know I just got back from my first-ever trade show for Wholesome Yum Foods. This picture is us in our booth -- me, my husband, and two amazing people from our team.

Trying to convince stores of all sizes why Wholesome Yum ingredients are special and why they should add us to their shelves was a whole new kind of undertaking I've never done before. I designed this booth backdrop myself, and we were on the show floor with many of the big brands you see in stores. Not easy for little family-owned us, but we did it and learned a lot.

Hopefully it means you'll see us in more local stores in your area later this year. Stay tuned for updates, and as always, thank you for the support!
